GameCase is a third-party iOS game controller for iPad and iPhone

Following the rollout of the iOS 7 update for Apple's mobile devices and tablets this week, ClamCase revealed the GameCase, its third-party iOS game controller for iPad and iPhone devices.

Apple announced that iOS 7 will add support for third-party game controllers to the hardware via new MFi controller framework during its WWDC 2013 keynote presentation in June. Similar in basic atheistic design to Microsoft's Xbox 360 controller, GameCase features trigger buttons, dual analog sticks, an interface button, directional pad, shoulder buttons, a non-slip rubber surface and four face buttons.

According to the announcement, the company is currently working with iOS developers to create ClamCase supported games. The GameCase supports iPad 2, iPad Mini, iPhone5/5S/5C and iPhone 4/4S.

Release date and pricing information was not available at the time of writing. Interested parties are invited to register on the peripheral's official website to be notified when pre-orders open.
