Forum Communications Co. newspapers win 250 awards at annual North ...

FARGO, N.D. - Forum Communications Co. newspapers received more than 250 awards in advertising and news categories in the 2010 North Dakota Newspaper Association Better Newspaper Contest. The awards were handed out during the organization?s annual convention May 6 in Grand Forks, N.D.
The NDNA Better Newspaper Contest is held annually to recognize the state?s newspapers? efforts to improve their print and online products.
Topping the company?s accomplishments this year were The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead and The Dickinson Press, each of which received the ?sweepstakes? award in their circulation category for winning the most awards. Additionally, The Forum, Dickinson Press, Grand Forks Herald and The Jamestown Sun all were recognized with ?general excellence? awards.
In addition to numerous honors received by the newspapers, many Forum Communications Co. employees were recognized for their own accomplishments. Reporters, photographers, editors, designers and sales representatives received some of the contest?s top awards.
