TOLEDO, Ohio (WUPW) - One candidate running for the 9th congressional district seat says he's taking a different approach when it comes to small businesses.
Graham Veysey called Saturday's visit the Main Street Shuffle, greeting owners and employees of small businesses across the new 9th district.
"We started the day in Cleveland we've been working our way a long the new 9th district the north coast and we're finishing in Toledo," said Veysey.
Veysey believes in this election he's David fighting 2 Goliaths.
With Dennis Kucinich getting endorsed by the Cuyahoga Democratic Party, and Marcy Kaptur grabbing the Dems in Lucas County, Veysey still believes he has a shot at winning this race.
"I don't care about the endorsements, what I care about is the endorsement of the voters on March 6th," said the candidate.
The purpose of the Main Street Shuffle, was to get to know his small business constituents.
Owning a small business himself, Veysey says he can relate to some of the issues owners face and he's willing to fight for their rights.
